Information Use Statement

We use information only to provide the service a visitor requests, operate the website safely, understand which content is useful, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations.
Information we collect
Newsletter signup collects an email address, consent date, signup page and source, subscription status, unsubscribe information, and whether the free book was delivered.
Website measurement records page visits and selected link clicks. A random identifier stored in the visitor's browser is converted to a one-way hash before it is saved. Our analytics table does not store IP addresses.
How we use it
Newsletter information is used to deliver 75 Smoked Venison Recipes, send the monthly newsletter and relevant shop news, prevent duplicate active subscriptions, honour unsubscribe requests, and respond to subscriber questions.
Website measurements are used to improve navigation, content and product information. They are not used to build advertising profiles.
Purchases and service providers
Stripe processes payment and checkout information for direct digital-ebook purchases. Kits & More receives a signed payment notification and stores the checkout-session identifier, purchased product, amount, currency, payment status, customer email supplied to Stripe, payment-intent identifier, and download timestamps needed to confirm eligibility, enforce the one-download limit, provide purchase support, and revoke access after a refund or dispute. Amazon processes purchases opened through Amazon links.
Kits & More does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe, Amazon, website hosting and email providers process limited information under their own privacy and security terms as needed to supply their services.
What we do not do
We do not sell newsletter addresses or website-measurement data. We do not share the subscriber list with advertisers, and we do not request card details through the Kits & More website.
Retention, security and choices
Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, purchase support and accurate unsubscribe handling. Owner records require authorized access, exports are not cached, and private download links use random tokens.
Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time. To request access, correction or deletion of newsletter information associated with an email address, contact kits.morebyjmc@gmail.com.
